Is photoshop better then paint.net for coloring drawings?

I have paint.net, but I can never achieve the level of awesomness that people who use photoshop can. What is the difference between the two programs? Is photoshop better then paint.net for coloring drawings?
It all depends on the skill and technique of the user who is wielding the program. You can have Photoshop and still suck at making stuff if you don't know how to do different things. There are so many things to learn that it might get confusing. Paint.NET can achieve most of things that Photoshop can, but it takes a little more time/thinking in terms of process in making it. For example, I've converted a few Photoshop tuts into Paint.NET. If you don't understand what I mean, check out my deviantART page and compare the quality of my older works to the more current ones.

In conclusion; it just takes a lot of time and experimenting with the program to make cool stuff. Experience makes all the difference, even if its Photoshop your using. Is photoshop better then paint.net for coloring drawings?
thats wat i wanna know. I think that there is no difference between them except that photoshop costs $700 and that paint net is free.
