How do I fade the edges of a photo in paint.net?

I want to make the photo for our business look more professional, would fading the edges in look good? if so how do I do that in Paint.net? What else would make it look like its professionally done?

I tried picnik.com and it's fine - kinda fun, and kinda limiting too.


If you ever do want full control...and not pay anything - do try GIMP


I'm an industry professional in front-end development, and I use GIMP every day.

I've tried out Paint.net and found it very limiting. Basic features found in other, better graphics editors are missing from Paint.net.





I suggest learning GIMP. It's far more powerful.
