How can i make a picture that i took off google and make the white background transparent using paint.net?

I took a picture off of google, and i only need the picture, not it's white background. How can i make it transparent using paint, or paint.net?

If it is a PNG file, save it rather then copying it. If not, then use the magic wand tool in paint.NET.





Then, click on the white background, and it should select all of it. Then you can delete it and you are left with just the image, no background.

I do have one concern.


I have part of the picture that deletes when i use the magic want tool...
