One great thing to have is fonts.


Download some (';save to disk'; when it asks) from 1001freefonts.com or dafont.com. This shows you how to save them for use in Paint.Net.

Another great thing is using Photoshop brushes in PAINT.NET. If you didn't know, a Photoshop brush is basically just a stamp.
