Paint.net ...?

I've been recommended I download this, is it as good as what i've been told?Paint.net ...?
It's a great program.





Microsoft funded a group of programmers at MIT to create a replacement for the cheesy 'paint' program that comes with windows. This is the result.





For most applications this is fine.





If you need extensive graphic work you will prob need something more commercial and not free.
